airport proximity and awesome service!
airport proximity helpful staff large rooms crisp sheets
the reception manager, elias, were great. he insisted on carrying our heavy luggage to the room. this was a big help as we had two suitcases. the location is super convenient, only a few miles from the airport, and easy to find!
The refurbishment is ongoing, and some furniture seemed a bit worn. I noticed a few things that could use a little sprucing up.

the hotel's position is convenient with a sainsbury's supermarket located right across the street. getting to and from the airport is easy. you can catch a local bus or grab a quick taxi, super practical.

The family room was spacious and perfect for my whole family. It was very clean. we had crisp, white cotton sheets, and the bathroom had a bath. it was also equipped with a shower that had lots of hot water.

The building definitely shows its age. There was a certain musty odor in the room. I found used shower gels left in the shower, too.

flickering bedside lamp erratic shower temperature
the chap at reception was quite amicable.. i suppose that's something.
I found the room less than excellent. the bedside lamp flickered incessantly. It seemed like a cheap disco. the shower temperature was erratic. It alternated between freezing and scalding. i nearly perfected my ice dancing routine in there.

the manager was very helpful. he helped with directions and local information. the staff made sure dpd picked up my luggage, they delivered it. i will book again if i am ever around.

the person at reception, Eias, helped with my luggage. the hotel HAS free parking, helpful. the room was big, it was perfect for a longer stay. the bed had crisp, clean sheets, SO nice.
some furniture looked a little bit OLD.
